Fistula

A fistula-in-ano, commonly known as a fistula, is an abnormal tunnel-like passage that forms between the anal canal and the skin near the anus. It usually develops due to an infection or abscess in the anal glands, which, if left untreated, creates a tract that opens both internally (inside the anal canal) and externally (on the skin around the anus).

Fissure

A fissure is a small tear or crack in the skin or lining, commonly found in the anal region. It often causes pain and bleeding during bowel movements. Fissures are usually caused by constipation, straining, or passing hard stools.

Pilonidal sinus

Pilonidal sinus is an inflammatory swelling in the natal cleft above the buttocks which generally contains tuft of hair, commonly found in young people

Anal polyps

Anal polyps are abnormal, small growths or tissue projections that develop in the lining of the anal canal or rectum. These growths can be benign (non-cancerous) but may sometimes develop into more serious conditions if left untreated.
